MARK ORNSTEIN, MD

Principal Investigator

Mark Ornstein, MD has been a Board Certified Internal Medicine Specialist for over 30 years.  He received his medical degree from CETEC University Santo Domingo and completed his residency in 1986 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, serving as Chief Medical Resident in his final year.

Since 2010 Dr. Ornstein has focused on Alzheimer's Disease (AD) research and has serve as a Principle Investigator on many AD development programs with great skill and patience.

Dr. Ornstein is an original founder of ACI.  His medical role at ACI is key to ensuring safety in operations, patient safety and clinical patient care overall.

He is affiliated with Hackensack Meridian Health Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, New Jersey.

MICHAEL CARSON, MD

Internist,

Principal/Sub-Investigator

Michael Carson, MD FACP is a board-certified Internist and Philadelphia native who completed his Internal Medicine Residency, Chief Residency, and Obstetric Medicine fellowship at Brown University.

 

He is President of the North American Society of Obstetric Medicine, Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and Professor of both Medicine and OB/Gyn at Hackensack Meridian Health School of Medicine.

 

He practices General Internal Medicine (Primary Care), continues to educate students/residents, teaches at national meetings and courses and is honored to have received teaching awards.  His clinical research aims to improve postpartum testing for women with gestational diabetes. His experience as a busy internist and as a consultant for pregnant women has afforded him expertise in treating a broad spectrum of diseases including chronic kidney disease, hypertension, lipid disorders, lung disorders, congestive heart failure and coronary artery disease, among other conditions.

 

He is an avid lacrosse and tennis player.

DANIEL D'ANDREA, MD

Geriatric Psychiatrist, Principal/Sub-Investigator

Dan​iel D'Andrea, MD is a Board Certified Geriatric Psychiatrist for over 20 years.  He received his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in 1999 and completed his residency at the University of Massachusetts in 2003 and his Clinical Fellowship at Harvard University in 2004.

Dr. D'Andrea is the Medical Director of a private clinic specializing in geriatric psychiatry.  He has recently joined ACI as a Sub-Investigator where his expertise in integrated neuropsychiatric evaluations, care of elderly patients suffering cognitive decline and general psychiatric conditions is priceless.

Dr. D'Andrea is affiliated with CentraState Medical Center in Freehold and Hackensack Meridian Health Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, NJ

MARK PASS, MD

Geriatrician,

Sub-Investigator

Mark Pass, MD is a Geriatric Medicine Specialist in Marlboro, NJ and has over 23 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from American University Of The Caribbean School Of Medicine in 1999. He is affiliated with medical facilities such as Centrastate Medical Center and Hackensack Meridian Health Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

SHERRIE BRADLEY, MBA

President / Chief Executive Officer

Sherrie earned a BA in Microbiology in 1978 from Miami University, and a MBA from Seton Hall University in 1984.  In 2018, Sherrie added to her accomplishments by successfully completing a Medical Assistant program.

In over 40 years of professional experience, Sherrie has managed a number of laboratory, consulting and pharmaceutical manufacturing organizations at the leadership and senior management levels.

Sherrie is a founder of ACI and serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, and on the Board of Directors.  She has been involved in Clinical Research since 2001 with a focus on the areas of Metabolic Syndrome, Infectious Disease, and Alzheimer's Disease (AD).  Based on a personal connection with the effects of AD in her family, she is especially dedicated to efforts to find a cure for AD.
